When all possible upgrades have been executed, we can still increase the performance of the air-cooled heat exchanger or condenser during hot weather by using our air chilling ( fog cooling ) applications.
In general, a temperature drop of 6-7°C can usually be achieved in Western Europe weather conditions. For common condensers this temperature drop already produces a condensation gain of 10-15 %. As condensers are often used in electrical power stations, the impact on the power gain is considerably.
Fog cooling can be designed with control and regulation by temperature and humidity measurements.
